Dedications and Consecration Service

The pastor opened his teaching by reminding listeners that February 1st is both the first day of the month and the first day of the week, a prophetic sign that calls for spiritual vigilance. He presented the month of February as the “month of restoration and fortification,” intended to consolidate the victories achieved in January and to prepare believers for the challenges ahead.

January was described as a period of 31 days of combat in which every saint was called to resist the temptations of the past (2025) and to “slay” the prophets of Baal—that is, the thoughts, habits, and compromises that could bind them. The pastor likened this struggle to that of the prophet Elijah, who confronted King Ahab and Jezebel, and emphasized the spiritual victory won through prayer and God’s Word.

Moving into February, the pastor warned that the enemy, like Jezebel, will try to intimidate and discourage those who won in January. He described the typical signs: spiritual fatigue, discouragement, negative thoughts, and a sense of oppression. This intimidation does not mean the believer has sinned; rather, it is an attack aimed at undoing the victory already secured.

The central theme of the month is fortification. The pastor stressed two essential “foods”:

  • Water – drink pure (or blessed) water instead of sodas, because water is “spiritual” and revitalizes spiritual energy.
  • The Word – “eat” the Bible throughout the day (morning, noon, evening) to stay nourished, strengthened, and restored.

These two practices are presented as the concrete means by which God will continue to work in a believer’s life throughout February.

Unlike Elijah, who acted without the power of Christ, the pastor reminded the congregation that we have Jesus within us. Therefore, even when the enemy tries to make us falter, believers must:

  • Declare the victory (“I receive it,” “I catch it”).
  • Remain standing, persevere in prayer, and refuse laziness or discouragement.
  • Use faith as a shield against intimidation and fatigue.

The pastor projected February as the starting point of a walk that must continue until December. By fortifying today, we prepare for complete restoration—physically, financially, and spiritually. He exhorted listeners to:

  • Drink water and eat the Word every day.
  • Recognize attacks but ignore them through Christ’s intercession.
  • Declare that the fortification of February will extend through each remaining month, leading to the final victory “on Mount Horeb.”

In short, the pastor’s February message calls us to hold on to the lessons of January, stay vigilant against spiritual intimidation, and daily nourish ourselves with pure water and God’s Word. By aligning ourselves with Christ, we will be restored, fortified, and able to continue the victorious walk until the end of the year. May every believer keep these principles as a practical and spiritual guide throughout the month of February.
