SWANized Youth

Another inspiring afternoon took place with the youth of SWAN. They shared the best moments of their week, such as a figure skating show, a hockey tournament, a trip to the farm, or the chance to leave school early.

Next, they participated in an exercise where they had to anonymously write down questions or topics that concern them at their age. One of the topics discussed in-depth was: Is it wrong to be in a relationship when you're young? Everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, was able to share their opinion on the subject.

From these discussions, three important criteria emerged for finding a good life partner, in order of priority:

  • A person who walks with the word of God (a man or woman in the Garden of Eden)
  • A polite woman or a respectful man who works and respects women
  • Love is present and at the center

These criteria will be useful for their future when they are mature enough and ready for a serious relationship with their life partner.

One of the youths of SWAN closed the evening with a beautiful prayer. We look forward to meeting again in 2 weeks!
