Testimony Service

Last Sunday we had a special testimony service. Testimony is a duty of gratitude of each child of God towards his creator who never ceases to bless us.

It is a great weapon against the devil.

In the book of Revelation 12:11, it says, "They overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives until fear death”.

Senior Pastor, Cyrille Bankolé, introduced this moment by recalling that our Lord Jesus had ordered his disciples not to depart from Jerusalem, but to stay together and wait for what the Father had promised: the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4). It was filled with the Holy Spirit that they went away, healing the sick and casting out demons.

If a church is alive, it must see miracles in the lives of the members of the church. The power of the risen Christ must be manifested in the Church.

There is no small miracle: what you call small can be big for someone else. Everyone must therefore be able to give their testimony.

5 poignant testimonies were shared. Listening to them we have seen how God is able to manifest himself in different ways in the lives of these children. Here are the lessons we learned through these testimonies:

  • God still delivers and heals today. The same God who cast out demons to restore the lives of many in Jesus' day still delivered family covenants that blocked the lives of his children. Glory be given for the release of the captives.

  • Parents, when you see your child's behavior changing, don't look for the solution of men. Certainly, something is happening in the spirit world. You should immediately take a stand in prayer to destroy the oppression of the enemy. Seek the proper help, run to Jesus.

  • Without challenge, there is no evolution. God is great and his children must aim higher for their studies, their professional future and even for every area of their lives.

  • A word of knowledge is capable of radically changing the life of a child of God, from fear to deep Peace.

The service ended with a moment of prayer for the sick, as the Spirit led the man of God.

Finally, it was a crossing service next week the Lord graces us to change places and grow. May is the month of grace!
