Thanksgiving and Testimonies
During our last worship service, we were fortunate to share a long time of fellowship, a friendly dinner where everyone could rejoice in God's goodness following the War of the Altars.
Together, we celebrated the conclusion of our gatherings in this special place with gratitude and hope. This memorable moment was marked by 19 inspiring testimonies which you will find below.
19 testimonies
1) Jean testifies to his spiritual transformation since giving his life to the Lord in 2019. Initially, although he received blessings without fully understanding or following the teachings of the Bible, he gradually realized the need to take a step of faith. In 2022, he joined the SWAN Church, spiritually guided like the wise men by the star. There, he met a man of God, Prophet Landry Cyrille Bankolé, who helped deepen his faith. In February 2024, Jean had a significant revelation when he realized he had not truly given his life to the Lord wholeheartedly, despite his baptism and previous commitment. This awareness was triggered by a question from the prophet, prompting him to reflect on the sincerity of his spiritual commitment. Jean understood that he continued certain habits, like drinking, which were detrimental to his health and spiritual path. He decided to stop drinking silently, without talking to his family or friends, to avoid judgment in case of failure. During a recent seminar on the War of altars, Jean learned the importance of destroying curse altars to live under the protection of the Golgotha altar. During this event, he felt an intense spiritual experience, with tears and physical sensations like a wind on his face and a hand on his forehead, which deeply moved him. Today, Jean feels transformed and determined to follow the spiritual path with devotion and sincerity, finally feeling under the true voice of God. Jean no longer drinks. It's over!
2) Béatrice testifies to the transformation and spiritual destiny of her family. She recounts how her father, an only child, lost several children and eventually gave his land to the Pygmies. The government then took some of this land but could not exploit it. These lands were bought by the Diocese of Ongozi, which built a church called "The House of Charity." Béatrice found comfort in knowing that her father's land had been used for the glory of God.
She connects this experience to a prophecy from Prophet Landry Cyrille Bankolé, saying that her "little eyes see the invisible." Béatrice draws a parallel between the spiritual altar built on her father's land and the one she found at the SWAN Church. She feels as if God had transferred the altar from her paternal land to SWAN, where she sees the continuity of faith and divine blessing. Béatrice expresses her gratitude for witnessing this divine work, seeing a deep spiritual connection between her family's past and her present within the SWAN community.
3) Pacifique shares two testimonies related to the "War of the Altars." The first testimony dates back to 2016 when he lent $400 to someone in need. After years without repayment and without pressure from his part, he received an envelope containing the $400 the Friday following the "War of the Altars". He interpreted this as a sign of God's faithfulness and wonders.
The second testimony concerns the expansion of his law firm. After 15 years of private practice, Pacifique wanted to find a collaborator. Two months before his testimony, he had started discussing with a lawyer named Michel. On the very day the "War of the Altars" began, Michel announced to him that he had resigned from his government position to join him. This positive response to his prayer marked a significant turning point for Pacifique, who sees in Michel a partner in his firm.
4) Michel shares his testimony in two main parts. First, he explains how it was prophesied that he would work with Master Pacifique, despite his hesitations to leave a secure job in the government. After receiving confirmations from his wife and the prophet, he decides to trust God and follow this new path, despite the reluctance of his colleagues and his own fear.
Then, Michel recounts his personal experience with the "War of the Altars." Before this event, he often felt unhappy and disturbed, despite his dedication to God. He describes how evil spirits seemed to follow him and hinder his life. During the War of the Altars, he felt a transformation, finally finding peace and joy. He also mentions inherited spiritual problems from his grandfather, as well as difficulties in his marital life. These obstacles were overcome through prayers and interventions from the prophet. Michel concludes by expressing his gratitude for the transformation of his life, work, and family through this experience.
5) Armelle shares a testimony on the impact of the "War of the Altars" in her life. During the event, she and her husband felt intense physical effects, such as vomiting, accompanied by spiritual transformation. Armelle explains that she became calmer and happier, feeling guided to be an instrument of peace. Her prayer life also changed, replacing her leisure activities with reading the Bible and prayer. She concludes by recounting a significant dream where her husband symbolically freed himself from the bonds of his first marriage, strengthening their current relationship.
6) Joseph testifies to his healing and transformation of his life. Having suffered from a disease for 11 years, he underwent surgery in November 2023 and is now healed. Before this event, he had almost lost everything in his business. However, after the "War of the Altars," he received a favorable business proposal from DHL, offering a 65% discount on shipping costs. He also took steps to open a trust account, facilitating international transactions. Joseph attributes these successes to prayer and divine intervention during the War of the Altars, believing that God has opened new opportunities for him.
7) Diane testifies to her husband's story, who suffered a stroke on April 15. He was urgently transported to the hospital where a complex operation was performed to remove a clot in his brain. The doctors managed to remove part of the clot, but there were complications, and they created damage on the right side. The situation seemed very serious, and the doctors told Diane that her husband could end up in a vegetative state, possibly unable to speak or move again, and requiring palliative care.
Diane refused to lose hope and insisted that intensive care continue. After weeks in hospitals, her husband showed unexpected signs of improvement. Diane's prayers, her family's prayers, the prophet's prayers, and the people at SWAN, as well as the "War of the Altars" were decisive.
After transferring her husband to the Hull hospital, the doctors initially gave a very pessimistic prognosis, but against all odds, his condition began to improve. He was able to start breathing on his own, without the need for permanent tracheotomy, and his kidneys started functioning normally again, eliminating the need for dialysis. He also began moving his right foot and communicating, which seemed impossible before.
Diane attributes these improvements to the power of prayer and faith, convinced that God played a crucial role in her husband's healing. She expresses her gratitude for the prayers of their community, which she believes significantly contributed to her husband's healing. She remains optimistic and firmly believes that her husband will soon be able to testify and dance with them at church.
8) Diomède shares a poignant testimony related to the "War of the Altars". Before this event, he was plagued by distressing dreams where he found himself chased by a militia in Burundi, even though he had left the country in 2008. These dreams deeply disturbed him, especially because he saw himself defenseless against this threat. Moreover, his family had been affected by illnesses and educational difficulties with his children. When the "War of the Altars" was announced, Diomède felt the urgent need to learn how to fight spiritually. After this event, he felt strengthened, convinced that the devil could no longer frighten him because he knew he was already defeated.
9) Aline, in her testimony, expresses gratitude to God for being led to a new church that transformed her spiritual life and that of her family. After being baptized for 22 years and regularly attending church, she felt a spiritual blockage, despite her daily prayers. It was only after meeting a prophet in this new church that she realized something needed to change.
She shared how her children, whom she thought were on the right path, were actually influenced by the outside world. This realization was a turning point in her spiritual and family life. She began to see things differently and recognize the importance of prayer and spiritual guidance.
Additionally, Aline shared how her faith helped her in her professional life. She had a difficult colleague to work with, but she decided to pray for her. To her surprise, this colleague's behavior changed, becoming kinder and more cooperative.
Furthermore, Aline shared a moment when her faith supported her when she was diagnosed with uterine cancer in 2020. Despite the challenges and treatments, she testified to the strength and peace that God gave her throughout this ordeal. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, she was resilient and found comfort in her faith.
Aline's testimony highlights the power of faith, prayer, and spiritual guidance in her personal, family, and professional life, as well as in times of struggle and illness.
10) Regina, a mother of four, shares her poignant testimony about her 17-year-old son. She describes how, after their arrival at SWAN in October 2023, her son began to exhibit worrying behaviors, associating with bad company and consuming drugs, including marijuana and e-cigarettes. Despite her efforts to dissuade him, her son sank further into this destructive spiral, to the point of leaving home. Before an event called the "War of the Altars", her son sent her a message indicating that he would not return. During this period of anxiety, Regina maintained her faith and chose to attend the event, withdrawing to her room to pray when her son became violent.
After the "War of the Altars", her son returned, expressing remorse and a willingness to change. He apologized to his mother and expressed his desire to end his destructive behaviors. Together, they decided to seek professional help to overcome his addictions. Despite the challenges, Regina remains confident in God's grace to guide her son on the path to redemption.
11) Fred shares a profound testimony of his spiritual transformation. He begins by recounting his experience in the boxing club, where he had a great passion for the sport. However, he realized that this passion was holding him back from fully committing to his faith. After having a strange dream involving a threatening dog in front of his house, Fred understood that changes needed to happen in his life. He felt the need to leave the boxing club despite pressures to stay.
The week before an event called the "War of the Altars", Fred intensified his prayers and felt an inner transformation. During this event, he experienced a powerful spiritual encounter where he felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and was deeply moved. He testified to the divine power that led him to repentance, abandoning his old habits, and experiencing a profound spiritual renewal.
After this experience, Fred was guided by the Holy Spirit to share inspiring messages with those around him, even revealing divine warnings to a friend regarding his work. His testimony highlights how God works in individuals' lives, transforming them and using them to accomplish His will.
12) Ange shares her testimony of academic improvement after participating in the War of the Altars. She notes a significant increase in her grades, from 70% to 90%, which is rare at CGL. She also highlights the decrease in her school anxiety since surrendering her life to the Lord, feeling supported by God during her exams.
13) Bélicia shares her testimony of her search for an internship for her master's degree. After the War of the Altars, she observes an increase in professional opportunities coming her way. While she had only had one interview before, she now finds herself scheduled for two upcoming interviews. Additionally, she even receives a job offer in Canada, a situation that had never happened to her before.
14) Angélique shares her testimony of spiritual and family transformation. Initially Catholic, she had curiosity to explore different churches, but her daughter was unreceptive to the teachings. However, after being invited to SWAN where they talked about their family, she found her place and encouraged her mother to join her. This new spiritual experience strengthened them, especially in their family relationship. Following the War of the Altars, she cancels a trip to attend a seminar that transforms her, giving her the courage to address family issues. She testifies to a transformation in her way of communicating with her son and in her daily life, attributing these changes to her spiritual commitment.
15) Jeanne expresses her gratitude to God for His presence in her life and for the support of spiritual figures like the pastor and church members. Since last November, she has found a place of prayer and sharing thanks to their help. The War of Altars strengthened her faith and brought her a sense of rest and tranquility, despite the challenges she may have encountered after arriving in Canada.
16) Keila testifies to her transformation since joining the SWAN church, noting significant encounters with the pastor that seemed to speak directly to her. After giving her life to Jesus, she felt a profound change, especially in managing fear and perfectionism. The War of the Altars strengthened her faith and helped improve her relationship with her parents, becoming closer to them and appreciating moments of connection they had never had before. Her confidence in God was also tested during a difficult trip to the Dominican Republic, where she prayed for peace and found that God supported her at every step, giving her the certainty that she was precious in His eyes.
17) Alain, originally from Burundi, had been struggling with chronic illnesses for a long time according to doctors. His mother, residing in Ottawa, Canada, told him about Prophet Cyrille Bankolé and encouraged him to follow the show "Victorious Mornings" on YouTube. The prophet prayed for him during a show on May 5, 2024, announcing that God would heal him. Two days later, on May 9, Alain was miraculously healed in his sleep, waking up without pain. He expresses his gratitude to the prophet, his team, and his mother for their support and prayers, and requests continuous prayers for his health.
18) Judith shares her testimony of her spiritual journey during the War of the Altars. Initially reluctant to participate, she eventually committed following the insistent prayers of Prophet Cyrille Bankolé. She expresses gratitude for the miracles that followed, including her son's healing after the prophet's prayer. Judith also recalls her experience of the Holy Spirit during Pentecost, emphasizing that although she did not feel a physical fall, she nevertheless felt an internal change. Despite the prophet's repeated affirmations regarding her future employment, Judith has not yet found a job, but she remains confident and waits with faith that God will provide. Despite the challenges, she testifies to great joy and inner peace that accompany her throughout her journey.
19) Debbie, who has been at Swan for two years and does not speak French, emotionally shares her testimony. She expresses gratitude for the love and support she has received from the community, especially from Pastor Cyrille and the sisters in the church. Despite language barriers, she finds peace in participating in seminars and attending church every Sunday. Debbie aspires to be wise and ready to face her battles with confidence in God. She acknowledges the profound changes that the "War of Altars" has brought into her spiritual life and commits to continuing her spiritual growth. Finally, she thanks her family and church members for their love and support, concluding with a call to prayer for her ongoing journey in faith.
