Abraham’s example

Abraham’s example – Genesis 14

In the of Abraham – then called Abram - the conquest of territories was done by coalitions between kings.

  • Abram was the bearer of the vision: to save his nephew, prisoner of a coalition.
  • The strongest the alliance, the more they won.
  • He didn’t think twice about joining the fight himself: he knew who his God was.
  • In front of the coalition, Abram surrounded himself with only 318 brave men vs thousands of experienced soldiers. Nevertheless, bravery is not enough to go after a vision.

These brave me were sons, born in the house.

  • They received the education of Abraham.
  • They were aligned with what he was saying and united in one spirit.
