The requirements to receive the baptism of the Spirit

During the service, we have discovered 3 requirements to received and dwell in the baptism of the Holy-Spirit.


The baptism of the Holy Spirit is therefore essential for the Christians, however there are conditions to see this promise manifest.


The departure of Jesus was associated with the promise of the baptism of the Holy Spirit without which no Christian can live a victorious life.

  • Requirement #1: Knowing he is a person.

The Holy Spirit is not a power, nor a force, nor a fire; it is Jesus himself. Ephesians 4:30

  • Requirement #2: Do not grieve him.

Building your relationship with the person of the Holy Spirit, paying attention to his desires and his guidance. 1 Corinthians 6:19


The Holy Spirit must be your close friend who has control over your life. He is called the comforter, the spirit that guides you into all truth. John 16:13

  • Requirement #3: Seeking his baptism.

Passionately seeking in prayer and sacrifice, the fullness of the Holy Spirit within us.

The fullness of the spirit transforms completely, freeing from fear, enabling us to overcome sin and manifest Christ in us.


Let us pray:

  • I decree and declare that my spirit, my soul, and my body belong to God.
  • I decree and declare that my spirit, soul, and body are subject to the desire and will of the Holy Spirit.
  • Starting today, I allow nothing in my life to alter my relationship and my obedience to the Holy Spirit of God.
  • I separate myself from all sins and from any attitudes that do not glorify the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life.
  • Lord, baptize me, may this season not pass without your pouring into me.

In the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
