Thanksgiving Service

Thanksgiving Service

The SWAN family came together on this first day of May to celebrate God's faithfulness. In the month of April, decreed as the month of divine intervention, we witnessed what the mighty hand of the Lord has done by granting us this new Church space.

Coming to this new location during this month of grace indicates that God has approved of our deeds and that He his moving the ministry to a new level (Haggai 2:9).

After that, the man of God exhorted and instructed his people about grace:

  • Grace is the free gift of God. It originates with him and does not depend on our efforts.

  • Grace is not a power but rather the person of Christ who dwells in His fullness in us.

  • Grace and work are complementary, not opposed (1 Cor 15:10). But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

  • Grace operates only where there is work. It is the catalyst of work; that is to say, it amplifies its fruit.

  • No one can experience grace if they don't work.

  • Grace allows the life of a child of God to achieve the impossible. It is impossible to fail, to live with permanent illness.

  • Grace is opposed to mediocrity, failure, standing still, negativity, laziness, sin, etc.

  • In all aspect of our life, we must take full advantage of grace's possibilities.

  • A man only reaps what he sows. The more you sow in work, the more you reap the fruits amplified by grace.

  • When you start working, grace will start to show up.

The man of God issued a challenge to the SWAN household for the duration of this month: pray about your health, family, finances, job, and spirituality every evening from midnight until one in the morning.

The Lord urges us to leave our comfort zones this month of May in order to witness him at work and for our lives to bear fruit for his glory.
