The power of hardship
“My brothers and sisters, when you go through all sorts of hardships, count yourselves happy. For you know it: the testing of your faith produces endurance" (James 1:2-4).
Last Sunday, through the mouth of his servant, the prophet Cyrille BANKOLÉ, God reminded us how much we, the children, are an immense worth in his eyes.
To begin with, the man of God showed us that in the spiritual realm, each child of God is linked to a star.
As God said to Abraham (Genesis 15:5): "Your posterity will be as numerous as the stars in the sky."
These two texts served as the basis for his preaching:
Joseph and Jesus were respectively associated with a dominant or shining star.
However, the story of their lives was punctuated by great misfortunes: rejection, hatred, betrayal, and temptation because of the greatness and brilliance of their stars.
The people of God have understood that the greatness of the destiny of a child of God is linked to the intensity of their trials in life.
The life of a man who has a great destiny is punctuated with great battles.
What is extraordinary is that amid all these trials, Joseph and Jesus kept their hearts showing love and patience towards their declared enemies to achieve VICTORY.
Are you going through hardships, rejection, betrayals, gossip, or violence?
Know one thing:
In trial remember these keys, like Jesus and Joseph, to gain victory:
Declare with me:
Amen Amen Amen
