From grace to grace

From grace to grace

Prophet Cyrille Landry Bankolé, led by the Holy Spirit, once again astounded the people of God with his revelation-filled preaching.

Today's theme is "The depth of your covenant reveals the level of your grace Based on the book of Ruth in the Bible.

  • 1st revelation

By refusing to leave her mother-in-law, Ruth had just sealed a covenant with Naomi. She placed herself under the protection of the God who was the God of Naomi.

Attention: We must always look with spiritual eyes to discover the men and women that God has put on our path. The fact that Naomi was old, a widow, and destitute precludes any possibility of attachment.

  • 2nd revelation

The covenant you have with God determines the extent of grace in your life. Hold onto it if you come across a person who has brought you spiritual blessings; your covenant with them will sustain you.

  • 3rd revelation

Ruth did not just happen to go glean in Boaz's field (Rt 2). According to the Bible, God directs the actions of the righteous (Ps 37:23). The Lord guided her to the home of a wealthy man, the family of his late father-in-law, because of her relationship with Naomi.

  • 4th revelation

Ruth spent days and days picking food from the fields for her mother-in-law and herself. Boaz first came to her attention while she was at work.

Sleeping or doing the bare minimum are not the routes to grace. Grace demands effort.

  • 5th revelation

Naomi, not Ruth, was the one who suggested that Ruth spend the night at Boaz's feet.

The spiritual mother or father always has the best plan. Ruth married Boaz, elevating her status from that of a lowly gleaner to that of a wealthy and powerful woman in a nation that is not even her own.

Ruth descended from the woman who gave birth to Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

On the other hand, Orpah, who chose not to sign the covenant, is no longer mentionned in the Bible after that.

The covenant is therefore essential for anybody who desires to live fully in the grace of God.
